Our church is more than just a place where we worship; it’s a place where we have formed a community, and being part of any community means getting to know your neighbors.
At OBUC there are multiple opportunities for members to get to know each other. Throughout the year you may join us for potluck dinners, holiday decorating parties, movie nights, field trips, "fun and games" nights and more. If outdoor activities are more to your liking, each year we have at least one church family weekend at Shelter Neck with a canoe trip (sometimes two) or be a part of community service projects. And if you are just in the mood for a gathering for a good cause, you’ll want to take part in our annual Harvest Sale. We also have the Association of Universalist Women (which accepts more than women at its meetings) for those who'd like to be a part of our womens group. If you enjoy quilting, the Association of Universalist Women makes a quilt each year to donate to our Harvest Sale and would love more quilters.
