We believe each of us must take personal responsibility for his/her own religious life. Instead of “final and absolute truths” or rigid dogma, we try to provide a
stimulating and congenial atmosphere in which you may seek answers… in which you may ask new questions… in which you are free to discover the best that is in you.
In that spirit, you are free to discover your place at Outlaw’s Bridge. If you feel your journey with Outlaw’s Bridge includes volunteering in some way, we have some choices for you.

Q - I’m ready to volunteer. Who do I contact?
A - Each Committee has a Chair. That would be the best person to talk with. To find out who the chair is for the committee you are interested in joining, you can ask the minister. You can check the contact list on the bulletin board. You can also ask anyone on that committee who you should talk to about joining. Most members name tags list the committees they are on.
Q - I’m interested in a few different things and unsure of what I should do.
A - First, don’t try to do too many things at once, you’ll burn out. If you can’t choose, ask a Board Member or the Minister where they feel you are needed most. You can slowly add more when you feel comfortable.
Q - What else can I do to make a
difference at Outlaw’s Bridge?
A - Our board meetings are open and you are welcome to attend them. In fact, we want you to attend them. The board members are elected to
represent you and your opinions and want to know how you feel. By
coming to the meetings you can see what is going on and let us know what you think we should be working on.
There are also various other volunteer opportunities throughout the year like picking up trash four times a year for our “adopted” highway. We do a spring clean-up typically in May to clean the church yard, plant new
flowers, mulch, etc. A couple times a year we do a through cleaning of the inside of the church. If other
opportunities are available they’ll likely be listed in your bulletin or your monthly newsletter.
Thank you for all you do!
